Banking News – The government has provided relief amounting to Rs 9 crore 25 lakh for areas affected by the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi in Rasuwa.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the government has provided Rs 1 crore to Rasuwa, Rs 1 crore to Nuwakot, Rs 50 lakh to Dhading, and Rs 6 crore 75 lakh to 15 local levels in cash relief.

According to the Authority, 37 trucks and 13 Boleros have been dispatched to the flood-affected areas with food and non-food supplies so far. Additionally, eight helicopter flights have been made to deliver food and non-food materials to the affected areas. Communication sets have also been sent to facilitate communication services in the affected areas. On Bhadau 13, 2 tons of food supplies were sent to Uttar Gaya and Dhunche.

Similarly, materials required for rescue operations have also been dispatched to the affected areas via helicopter. The Authority stated that relief, rescue, and distribution of essential supplies are being continued in the flood-affected areas.
