Banking News – Himalayan Bank Limited has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 3 crore 1 lakh for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens in areas affected by the sudden flood in the Bhote Koshi River.

According to the bank, after the flood with debris occurred in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuva district on the morning of Bhadau 10, 2083, loss of life and property occurred in the areas along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers and other affected communities.

The bank has stated that the amount will be provided to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund under its corporate social responsibility for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the affected.

Expressing sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by the unexpected natural disaster, the bank has expressed sympathy for affected families and communities.
