Banking News – Work has begun from today to install two CCTV cameras in the Nepal-China border area. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has informed that the CCTV cameras are being installed to monitor risks from the lake formed after the Bhote Koshi flood, which could burst at any time.

Flood expert Sauhard Joshi expressed confidence that the installation of cameras would make it easier to visually monitor river flow and potential risks. The cameras are being installed with the objective of providing early warning to the public following the flood in the Bhote Koshi River on Bhadau 10.
