Banking News – Kamana Sewa Development Bank Limited, under its corporate social responsibility program, has distributed educational and essential materials to students living below the poverty line at Shri Kuleshwar Secondary School through its Kuleshwar branch office.

Kedar Nath Sharma, Regional Head of Kathmandu for the bank, handed over uniforms and educational materials to the students. The bank distributed stationery and educational materials, school bags, school dresses and house dresses, shoes, and other essential items with the objective of facilitating students’ studies.

Speaking at the program, School Principal Bhanu Bhakta Bist expressed gratitude for the support provided by the bank, considering the educational needs of underprivileged and poor students of the school. He stated that such support would not only provide encouragement to students in their studies but also have a positive impact on the school’s academic environment.

Handing over the educational and essential materials to the students, Regional Head Sharma stated that the bank has been supporting the education sector under its corporate social responsibility, and expressed confidence that this support for students deprived of necessary educational materials due to financial constraints would significantly contribute to their studies. The bank has also stated that it will continue such social responsibility programs in the future based on needs and priorities.
