Banking News – The seventh Annual General Meeting of Machhapuchchhre Capital Limited has concluded. The meeting was held on Wednesday at Baluwatar Palace Banquet in Gairidhara, Kathmandu, under the chairmanship of Bishwambhar Neupane, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Santosh Koirala, President of the Nepal Bankers Association and Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited, participated as the chief guest at the meeting. Speaking at the event, Koirala extended best wishes for the continued progress of Machhapuchchhre Capital and expressed confidence that the company would achieve further success in the days ahead.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer presented the welcome address and provided information about the key achievements of the past fiscal year, the challenges faced, and future action plans. The Annual General Meeting passed the annual report of the Board of Directors. Similarly, the financial statements along with the auditor’s report for the fiscal year 2082/83 were also unanimously passed.

The meeting also approved the proposal to appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2083/84 and determine their remuneration. Similarly, the meeting passed the proposal to distribute 7 percent cash dividend on the company’s paid-up capital. The company has stated that a total cash dividend of Rs 2 crore 43 thousand 765, including tax, will be distributed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman Bishwambhar Neupane expressed gratitude to all shareholders and stakeholders for their trust and continued support toward the company. He also thanked regulatory bodies, auditors, clients, legal experts, journalists, partner institutions, employees, and Machhapuchchhre Bank.
