Kathmandu – Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petroleum products, including diesel and petrol, effective from midnight tonight.
According to the corporation, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 4 per liter, and diesel by Rs 5 per liter, starting at 1 AM on Monday. This reduction follows a price cut by the Indian Oil Corporation, prompting the adjustment in the domestic market.
With the new pricing, petrol in the first category is now Rs 156 per liter, Rs 158 in the second category, and Rs 159 in the third category. Previously, petrol prices were Rs 160, Rs 162, and Rs 163, respectively, in these categories.
Similarly, the price of diesel has dropped to Rs 146 per liter in the first category, Rs 148 in the second, and Rs 149 in the third category, after a Rs 5 per liter reduction.
