Banking News – The continuation of the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for another five years has reaffirmed the trust, mutual respect and longstanding partnership between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

The renewal was accompanied by meaningful discussions between the leadership of the two institutions on opportunities for joint leadership, deeper institutional cooperation and collaboration across multiple areas aimed at supporting the continued development of the accounting profession in Nepal, India and the wider region.

The two institutions expressed their commitment to building on the strong foundation established through their longstanding relationship and working together in the years ahead.

The continued partnership is expected to support efforts to strengthen the accounting profession, create greater opportunities for members and contribute to the advancement of the profession across the region.
