Kathmandu – Dharahara will be open to the public starting from today, allowing around 500 people to climb the tower each day.
For now, entrance tickets to Dharahara will be free, and parking inside the tower premises will also be complimentary.
The decision to temporarily open the newly constructed Dharahara in Sundhara, Kathmandu, from October 3 was made during the Council of Ministers meeting on August 27.
The government, through the Ministry of Urban Development, has directed the Central Project Implementation Unit (Building and Housing) to arrange public access to Dharahara in celebration of Constitution Day.
