Banking News – Himalayan Energy Development Company has called its Annual General Meeting on Kartik 16. The company’s 134th meeting held on Ashoj 18 decided to hold the 26th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 16.

The meeting has been called at Arpan Banquet located in Thapagaun, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11 AM. At the meeting, a proposal will be presented for the company’s Chairman to present the annual report for fiscal year 2082/83 and for discussion and passage of the report.

Similarly, the meeting will pass a proposal to appoint an auditor for fiscal year 2083/84 and determine their remuneration. For the purpose of the Annual General Meeting, the company has decided to close its shareholders’ registration book (book closure) on Ashoj 28.

This means that only shareholders who have traded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) until Ashoj 27 and been transferred to their names will be eligible to participate and vote at the meeting.
