Banking News – A total of 30 accused have been arrested in 15 drug trafficking cases registered in Kapilvastu district from Shrawan of the current fiscal year 2083/84 until now. The District Police Office has stated that various drugs including 21 grams 210 milligrams of brown heroin were recovered during that period. According to police, among those arrested on charges of involvement in drug trafficking are 23 men and seven women.

The details state that 5 kilograms 225 grams of hashish, 10 kilograms 364 grams of opium, and 130 grams of marijuana were also recovered during that period. Police recovered 20 Nitravets, eight Spasmos, and one bottle of Codeine syrup.

Police have stated that a 23-year-old Asmita Bohara was arrested last night from Hallanagar in Shivaraj Municipality-2, Kapilvastu, with a substance suspected to be brown heroin.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rupendra Kumar Singh of the District Police Office Kapilvastu informed that the substance was recovered when a police team deployed from the Ward Police Office Chandrauta conducted a search at Bohara’s house last night.
