Banking News – Team Neurogine has thanked Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Kampus Antarabangsa Labuan (KAL) for the opportunity to engage in a discussion concerning the use, applicability, and economics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Malaysia.
The session on November 4, 2026, was conducted by Dr. Ricky Chia Chee Jiun, Deputy Dean of the UMS Labuan Faculty of International Finance and a member of the Neurogine Board of Advisors, with Neurogine SVP Chooi Yew Tzen representing Neurogine.
The discussion explored how prompt engineering can be used to guide AI towards more precise, relevant, and desired outcomes, an increasingly important skill as AI becomes part of the modern workplace.
For Malaysia, AI presents enormous opportunities: higher productivity, lower operating costs, smarter decision-making, and new avenues for innovation and economic growth. However, Neurogine stated that successful adoption is not simply about having access to AI tools. It is about having the right skills, mindset, and understanding to turn technology into measurable value.
The message from Dr. Ricky Chia was clear: Malaysia must not simply adopt AI. It must learn to use it intelligently, responsibly, and strategically.
Neurogine stated that it believes the future belongs to those who are ready to learn, adapt, and innovate. Noting that the AI journey is accelerating, Neurogine stated that it is actively championing and supporting its adoption in the industry. Last month, Neurogine installed and began operating its own AI server on-premise to lead in this initiative.
