Banking News – The ancient tantric scripture “Kularnavatantra,” translated and edited by tantric scholar Sandip Sapkota, has been published in the Nepali language. The scripture, published by Tantracharcha Family, was offered at the Shree Balkumari Temple in Kwalkhu, Madhyapur Thimi, on Saturday.

The translation of the scripture, comprising 17 chapters and 2,058 verses, has been done based on the original Sanskrit text preserved in the prevalent Nepal script. This work of presenting the Sanskrit-language tantric literature available in Nepal script in the Nepali language is expected to facilitate the study, research, and academic discourse of the ancient knowledge tradition.

“Kularnavatantra,” considered an important scripture of the tantric Agama tradition, covers topics related to tantric philosophy, sadhana, and traditional knowledge. Its Nepali translation is believed to help bring tantric literature, which had been limited to Sanskrit and Nepal script, within the reach of Nepali-language readers, scholars, and researchers.

The scripture offering program was attended by scholars and personalities from the religious and cultural sector, including tantric scholar Maheshwarjuju Rajopadhyaya, former Kumari Chanira Bajracharya, and tantric scholar Prof. Dr. Ratna Shamsher J.B.R..
