Birgunj – A night market dedicated to the Tihar festival has started today at the Old Bus Park in Adarshnagar, Birgunj. Organized jointly by the Birgunj Metropolitan City and Green City Community Police Service Center, the market will run until Thursday.

According to the president of the Police Service Center, Jayprakash Khetan, over 30 stalls will feature goods and products from small and domestic industries. “We have organized the night market to support and encourage local and small-scale entrepreneurs,” Khetan said. “Traditional food, handmade items, and locally-produced goods will be displayed, helping to promote and market local products.”

The night market will include stalls with a variety of foods, clothing, cosmetics, and household items. Additionally, a special cultural program is planned for Lakshmi Puja on Kartik 15 (Wednesday), Khetan shared.
