Banking News – Nepal’s most trusted life insurance company, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, has concluded its two-day Business Excellence Conference. The conference was held from Bhadau 1 to Bhadau 2, 2083, at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu.
The conference saw the participation of over 250 employees working in sales and marketing from across the country. The conference was jointly inaugurated by company’s senior directors Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Bimal Prasad Dhakal, Prabin Prakash Chhetri, and Chief Executive Officer Pravin Raman Parajuli, with a ceremonial lamp lighting.

Addressing the program, Senior Director Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal stated that Nepal Life has completed a glorious journey of 25 years, building an unparalleled history of trust, stability, and leadership in the Nepali life insurance industry. He mentioned that the company set another historic record by collecting over Rs 13 arab in first-year premium during the fiscal year 2082/83.
He expressed gratitude to all stakeholders associated with the company for this achievement and urged everyone to continue working with the same enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment in the days ahead. He also emphasized that while the company has reached great heights, maintaining these heights requires collective effort, hard work, and unity, and stressed the need to always set high goals and move forward unitedly.
Addressing the conference, CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli thanked all employees for their performance in the fiscal year 2082/83 and called for even greater proactiveness, discipline, and commitment from the start to achieve the business targets for the current fiscal year 2083/84. He reviewed the previous fiscal year’s business achievements and informed the conference about sales and strategic plans for the current fiscal year. “The heights we have achieved today are the result of our collective effort, dedication, and collaboration,” he said. “Reaching this height is not enough; we need unity, mutual support, and continued commitment to maintain our achievements and move toward new heights.”
During the conference, the company’s Deputy CEO, National Sales Head, Business Operations Head, Chief Financial Officer, and heads of Agency and Policy Servicing, Agency Training, Information Technology, Digital Transformation, and Human Resources departments presented detailed reports and presentations on their respective departmental performance, achievements, challenges, and future action plans. The presentations reviewed progress from the previous fiscal year and provided information on business targets, strategic priorities, service improvements, digital transformation, workforce development, and the action plans to be adopted for the current fiscal year.
At the conclusion of the conference, CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli, Deputy CEO Amit Kumar Kayal, National Sales Head Umapati Pokharel, and representatives from Human Resources distributed certificates to the participants. Additionally, employees, branches, and sub-branches that demonstrated outstanding business performance in the fiscal year 2082/83 were honored and awarded across 14 categories. The conference has infused new energy, enthusiasm, and professional commitment among employees associated with Nepal Life, providing further motivation to achieve the company’s business goals in the days ahead.
