Banking News – The government has moved forward with an infrastructure development plan with the objective of further strengthening the growing attraction of students and parents toward community schools. The work of expanding physical infrastructure has been initiated, prioritizing 109 large community schools across the country with more than two thousand students enrolled, which have been achieving excellent results.

Stating that this is a historic step for the transformation of the education sector, Minister for Education and Sports Sasmith Pokharel has stated that a total budget of Rs 6 arab 54 crore has been allocated for strengthening the structures of those schools in the current fiscal year itself.
According to Minister Pokharel, under this plan, Rs 5 arab 34 crore has already been released for 89 schools in the first phase. Through the released amount, the construction work of modern 12-room, three-story buildings in the schools will now be advanced at a rapid pace.
These buildings, to be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 6 crore per school, will also include modern classrooms, well-organized laboratories, and a well-equipped library. Minister Pokharel stated that this will make the learning environment of students safer, more organized, and more effective.
“It is a matter of happiness that some community schools have high student pressure, while we are equally aware of the reality that some schools are suffering from a lack of students. To break this inequality between schools, we have now started infrastructure improvement from large schools,” he said. “I also want to express the commitment to end this inequality forever by strengthening the educational quality and physical infrastructure of all community schools in the country equally in the days ahead.”
Additionally, thanking all teachers, parents, and students working day and night in building the country’s future, Minister Pokharel called for everyone’s cooperation and support in changing the face of community education.
