Everest Bank Limited has received a ‘CARE NP AA’ issuer rating commonly known as ‘Double A’ from CARE Ratings Nepal Limited, signaling strong financial indicators and robust creditworthiness.

According to CARE Ratings, issuers in the ‘AA’ category are considered to have a high degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations, with very low credit risk.

As of the end of Chaitra 2081 (mid-April 2025), the bank’s total assets reached Rs 324.07 billion. The bank’s current capitalization level has been assessed as sufficient to meet regulatory requirements and to support potential future credit expansion.

The strong rating is based on Everest Bank’s solid financial indicators, effective risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards. CARE Ratings also noted that the bank is expected to maintain asset quality, capital adequacy, and adaptability to regulatory changes in the future.

This rating further cements Everest Bank’s position as a leading and financially sound institution in Nepal’s banking sector.
