Banking News – Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has urged its shareholders to collect their unclaimed cash dividends from fiscal years 2069/70 to 2076/77.

The financial institution has issued a public notice urging shareholders listed in the notice to collect their outstanding dividends within one month from the date of publication. Shareholders can contact the institution’s central office in Mid-Baneshwar or NMB Capital in Baluwatar with valid identification documents to claim the outstanding dividend amounts.

The company said that dividends not collected within the specified period will be deposited into the Investor Protection Fund, established under Section 183 of the Companies Act, 2063.

Chhimek Laghubitta has also published details of deposit accounts that have remained inactive and unclaimed for 10 years or more on its website. Depositors or legal heirs listed in the notice have been requested to contact the concerned branch with the required documents to reactivate the accounts or claim the deposits.

The institution has urged concerned shareholders, depositors and beneficiaries to complete the necessary procedures within the specified period to avoid their unclaimed amounts being transferred to the respective statutory fund.
