Power Supply Interruption in Various Parts of Kathmandu Valley for 12 Days Starting Today

Banking News – Power supply will be interrupted in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley for 11 days. The supply is being interrupted to bring the underground power distribution system into operation and to carry out necessary work for managing electricity demand in the upcoming winter.

Nepal Electricity Authority has stated that power supply will be interrupted at various locations under the Kuleshwor, Baneshwor, Jorpati, and Kirtipur distribution centers from Ashoj 15 (today) to Ashoj 26 for work related to the underground power distribution system and winter load management.

In the concerned areas, power supply will be interrupted from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM to bring underground lines into operation and carry out necessary technical work. The Authority has stated that power supply will be interrupted in the Satungal Bauthali area on Ashoj 15.

Power supply will be interrupted in the Machhegaun Dobhan Chowk and Khusi Chowk areas on Ashoj 16, Mulpani area on Ashoj 17, Gurjudhara area on Ashoj 18, and Mulpani area on Ashoj 20. Similarly, the Authority has stated that power supply will be interrupted for underground line work in the Balambu area on Ashoj 21, Koteshwor-Balkumari area on Ashoj 22, Siphal area on Ashoj 24, Satungal Dhaulagiri Aawas area on Ashoj 25, and Dhobikhola area on Ashoj 26.
