Banking News – With the attraction toward electric vehicles continuously increasing in Nepal, Wuling, the globally established automobile brand manufactured by the world-renowned automotive joint venture SAIC-GM-Wuling (which also includes General Motors), has been addressing various customer needs in the Nepali market through its electric vehicles. Wuling currently offers three different categories of electric models in Nepal: Axiom, Mini EV, and Darion.
These Wuling models, focused on electric vehicle technology, have covered everything from daily urban commuting to family travel and multi-purpose SUV needs. Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd. has been the official importer and distributor of Wuling vehicles in Nepal.

Three Models for Different Needs
The Wuling Axiom is a five-plus-two-seat electric SUV. It presents power, efficiency, and versatility in a single package. The Axiom features a 69.2 kWh battery, a range of up to 530 kilometers, a 150 kW motor, and 310 Nm torque.
The Wuling Mini EV, available in the Nepali market with 4 doors and 4 seats, is a compact electric car targeted at daily urban use. Brought with the concept “Fun Everyday, For Everyone,” the Mini EV features a 25.1 kWh battery, a claimed range of up to 301 kilometers on a single charge, a 30 kW motor, and a four-seat capacity.
Similarly, the Wuling Darion has been presented as a seven-seater MPV that provides additional space and performance for family-focused use. It features a 69.2 kWh battery, a range of up to 540 kilometers, a 150 kW motor, and 310 Nm torque. Through this car with a seven-seat configuration, the company aims to provide additional practicality for family travel and daily use.
8-Year Warranty on Traction Motor and HV Battery
An important aspect of Wuling’s product range in the Nepali market is its long-term warranty facility. Wuling provides a warranty of 8 years or 1 lakh 50 thousand kilometers, whichever comes first, on the traction motor and high-voltage battery in its models.
In a situation where the long-term reliability of batteries and electric motors is an important issue for customers when purchasing electric vehicles, such a warranty facility is expected to provide additional confidence in the long-term ownership experience of the vehicle.
One Brand, Different Needs
From the versatility of the Axiom’s five-plus-two-seat SUV, to the urban-focused compact electric mobility of the Mini EV, to the seven-seat family utility of the Darion, Wuling has presented a diverse product range of electric vehicles in the Nepali market, targeting different customer needs and lifestyles.
With technology, practical design, comfort, safety, and confidence in long-term ownership at the center, Wuling has been expanding its presence in the direction of making the electric vehicle experience in Nepal more diverse and practical.
