Banking News – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted a weekly gain of 77 points, with total trading turnover exceeding NPR 16 billion, reflecting improved investor sentiment during the week’s trading sessions.

Trading took place over five sessions, with the benchmark index advancing on four days and declining on one.
The week began on a weak note, with NEPSE falling 30.60 points on Monday to close at 2,570.18. The market rebounded on Tuesday, gaining 6.11 points to settle at 2,576.29.
The upward momentum continued on Wednesday, when the index climbed 14 points to 2,590.29, followed by a 7.50-point increase on Thursday, closing at 2,597.80.
A strong rally on Friday saw NEPSE surge 79.74 points, lifting the benchmark index to 2,677.54, its highest close of the week.
The daily trading turnover was as follows:
- Monday: NPR 3.43 billion
- Tuesday: NPR 3.55 billion
- Wednesday: NPR 2.78 billion
- Thursday: NPR 3.49 billion
- Friday: NPR 3.53 billion
The week’s performance highlights renewed buying interest in the secondary market, with robust trading activity pushing total weekly turnover beyond NPR 16 billion.
