Kathmandu – Dr. Biswo nath Paudel, the newly appointed Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, has officially taken the oath of office and is set to assume his responsibilities starting today.

After a prolonged selection process and much anticipation, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut administered the oath to Dr. Paudel at the Ministry of Finance earlier this morning.

Following the oath ceremony, Dr. Paudel is scheduled to reach the central office of Nepal Rastra Bank to begin his duties. He was appointed as the 18th Governor of the central bank during the Cabinet meeting held yesterday.

His appointment marks a significant moment for Nepal’s financial sector, with expectations high regarding his leadership in guiding the country’s monetary policy and economic stability.
