Banking News – A total of 1,286 cases were registered in the Kathmandu Valley during the month of Shrawan, with 1,760 individuals arrested on charges related to these cases, according to police reports.

During the implementation of court verdicts in Shrawan, 513 individuals were arrested. The total imprisonment period ordered by the courts for these individuals amounts to 96 years, 6 months, and 26 days. Additionally, police reported that fines totaling Rs 11 crore 59 lakh 79 thousand were collected during the enforcement of court decisions.

Similarly, action was taken against 33,178 individuals for violating traffic rules in the Kathmandu Valley during Shrawan. Traffic fines amounting to Rs 2 crore 67 lakh 25 thousand were collected.

Police also reported actions against online betting and cryptocurrency transactions during Shrawan. Individuals involved in transactions and gambling worth approximately Rs 1 crore 96 lakh were arrested in connection with these activities.
