He expressed confidence that students will understand the real situation of insurance and that this will provide additional support for research in the insurance sector in the future and for employment in the insurance field.

On the occasion, Maharjan stated that the agreement is viewed as an important step in further strengthening collaboration between the education and professional sectors, and that it is expected to contribute to enhancing students’ practical knowledge as well as developing skilled human resources needed for the insurance sector. Professor Achyut Raj Kattel stated that if the agreement program can provide students studying in higher education with workplace experience during their studies, their capacity, confidence, and professional competence will become more effective.

The Nepal Insurance Authority has stated that it has been prioritizing the development of skilled human resources for the development of the insurance sector, as well as the growth of insurance awareness and expanding knowledge and awareness about insurance among the younger generation while regulating the insurance sector.
