Jagdamba Motors Launches TVS Ntorq 150 Amid Bipul Chettri’s Concert in Dharan

Banking News – Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of TVS Motor Company for Nepal, has launched the TVS Ntorq 150 in Dharan. The new scooter, unveiled amid the concert of popular singer Bipul Chettri, has been presented by the company as Nepal’s first 150 cc hyper sport scooter.

The program was attended by TVS customers and enthusiasts, journalists, content creators, dealers, and guests. The formal unveiling of the Ntorq 150 was jointly done by singer Bipul Chettri, Paurakh Luitel, Managing Director of Paras Automobile-TVS Itahari, and Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager of Jagdamba Motors.

The Ntorq 150 features a 149.7 cc air-cooled engine. According to the company, it produces 13.2 PS power at 7,000 RPM and 14.2 Nm torque at 5,500 RPM. The company claims the scooter achieves 0 to 60 kilometers per hour in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 104 kilometers per hour.

Designed with inspiration from stealth aircraft, the Ntorq 150 features a multipoint projector headlamp, aerodynamic winglets, jet-inspired vents, colored alloy wheels, naked motorcycle-style handlebars, and a T-shaped tail lamp.

The company has stated that the scooter offers more than 50 connected features through TVS SmartXonnect technology. Turn-by-turn navigation, last parked location, call and message notifications, and various riding modes are its main smart features.

In terms of safety and convenience, the Ntorq 150 has single-channel ABS, traction control, hazard lamp, follow-me headlamp, telescopic suspension, and adjustable brake levers. It also has an E-Z center stand and 22-liter capacity under-seat storage.

Speaking at the launch program, Karuna Pudasaini, Senior Marketing Manager of Jagdamba Motors, stated that through the Ntorq 150, the company seeks to further advance the identity of the Ntorq based on performance, technology, and design. According to her, launching the scooter amid Bipul Chettri’s concert in Dharan provided an opportunity to connect music, youth culture, and hyper performance on a single stage.

The Ntorq 150 is available in three colors: Stealth Silver, Racing Red, and Turbo Blue. Its introductory price has been set at Rs 3 lakh 69 thousand 900. According to the company, the scooter will be available through official dealers of Jagdamba Motors across Nepal.
