DataHub Launches ‘YetiCloud.ai’ AI Infrastructure Platform in Nepal

Banking News – DataHub Pvt. Ltd. has launched YetiCloud.ai, Nepal’s homegrown artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure platform, in collaboration with Hosted.ai, a leading global AI infrastructure platform provider.

The company, which has been providing data center and cloud services in Nepal for the past 15 years, said the platform will enable businesses, developers, researchers, and both public and private institutions to easily access GPU-powered AI services through Nepal’s own AI infrastructure.

According to DataHub, the platform has been developed to accelerate Nepal’s digital transformation by supporting the development, hosting, and scaling of AI solutions. It aims to strengthen the country’s self-reliance in AI technology, promote innovation, ensure data sovereignty, reduce latency, and expand access to high-performance AI computing services.

During the launch event, the company said the YetiCloud.ai platform has been built using DataHub’s data center infrastructure with technical support from Hosted.ai. The platform will provide services including AI development, deployment, model training, fine-tuning, and inference.

Hosted.ai will also collaborate in operating YetiCloud.ai as a GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platform by providing support for platform operations, self-service access, AI deployment environments, and modern cloud services.

Detlef Breith, Chief Executive Officer of Hosted.ai, said Nepal has a significant opportunity to expand its digital economy by transforming electricity into computing power, computing into artificial intelligence, and AI into economic growth.

Deepak Shrestha, Managing Director of DataHub, highlighted the growing contribution of information technology to Nepal’s economic development and expressed confidence that the company’s GPU services would further accelerate innovation and the growth of the country’s IT sector.

Shrestha added that customers will be able to pay for services in Nepali rupees while receiving technical support from local experts, creating more opportunities for Nepal’s IT professionals and helping reduce the outflow of foreign currency.
