KATHMANDU — Rara Labs has revealed that it has quietly developed multiple fintech and enterprise technology products over the past decade, positioning itself as a long-term player in Nepal’s evolving digital ecosystem.
According to the company, its portfolio includes banking reconciliation tools, cloud accounting solutions, API banking systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms products that have been built behind the scenes while supporting institutions across the financial and business sectors.
The company is now signaling a broader strategic vision: building Nepal’s “data layer,” a consent-based and interoperable digital infrastructure designed to enable secure data exchange among businesses, banks, and regulators.
This proposed infrastructure aims to strengthen digital connectivity across institutions, allowing data to move more efficiently while maintaining user consent and regulatory compliance. The initiative reflects a growing push toward digital public infrastructure and smarter financial ecosystems in Nepal.
Rara Labs said it plans to share further details about the initiative in the coming months, as interest grows around the future of data-sharing frameworks, open finance, and interoperable digital systems in the country.
