The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has reported extensive flooding across various areas of the city.The Kuleshwar fruit market has been severely affected, with flooding inundating the area. In addition, water has penetrated the southern section of the Kuleshwar fruit and vegetable market, with concerns rising as it begins to affect the northern part as well. The Balkhu vegetable market has also suffered from flooding originating from Teku Dobhan. Moreover, burst pipes from the Melamchi water supply project in Machhapokhari have caused flooding in nearby shops.
