NIFRA Reports Rs. 987.4 Million Net Profit in FY 2025/26; Earnings Decline 20%


Banking News – Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) reported a net profit of Rs. 987.4 million (Rs. 98 crore 73 lakh 95 thousand) for the fiscal year 2025/26 (FY 2082/83 BS), marking a 20 percent decline compared to the Rs. 1.234 billion earned in the previous fiscal year.

According to the bank’s annual financial statements, total operating income stood at Rs. 1.5047 billion, while operating profit reached Rs. 1.4168 billion during the review period.

NIFRA’s total assets increased to Rs. 41.85 billion, reflecting the bank’s continued expansion in infrastructure financing.

The bank’s paid-up capital remained at Rs. 21.60 billion, while its earnings per share (EPS) stood at Rs. 4.57.

Meanwhile, customer deposits grew to Rs. 7.84 billion, and the bank’s loan portfolio expanded to Rs. 31.42 billion, indicating continued growth in lending activities despite lower annual profitability.
