Banking News – Mahalaxmi Development Bank, which has been providing modern, secure, and convenient digital banking facilities to customers, is set to operate “Mahalaxmi Maha Sombar” to promote digital transactions, enhance customer convenience, and encourage secure and cashless banking transactions. Under this scheme, debit and credit cardholder customers of Mahalaxmi Development Bank will be able to receive special discounts when purchasing goods online through Daraz every Monday.

Customers with the bank’s debit cards will receive a 10 percent discount or a maximum of Rs 750 when purchasing goods worth a minimum of Rs 1,999 through Daraz Nepal, while customers with credit cards will receive a 15 percent discount or a maximum of Rs 1,000 when purchasing goods worth a minimum of Rs 1,999. This scheme will be applicable only every Monday, and since discounts will be available on a limited basis and on a first-come, first-served basis, customers can take advantage of this scheme in time every Monday.

The bank believes that through such schemes, it will help further encourage its customers toward digital payments and card-based transactions, expand the use of modern banking services, and provide additional convenience, savings, and value addition to customers in daily transactions.
