Banking News – The Nepal Economic Journalists Association (NAJIF) has won the title of the friendly futsal tournament organized by Kamana Sewa Development Bank. NAJIF lifted the title of the match held in Kathmandu on Saturday.

In the league-based tournament, NAJIF won the title with 4 points. NAJIF won the title undefeated. NAJIF, which defeated Nepal Economic Journalists Society (SEJON) in the first match, drew with the Economic Media Association (IMAN) in the second match.

In the first match, NAJIF defeated SEJON 1-0. The only goal scored by NAJIF’s Sudarshan Shrestha proved decisive. After the first half ended in a goalless draw, Sudarshan scored an excellent goal in the second half off a pass from Ganesh Shrestha. That goal was sufficient to give NAJIF the title.

In the second match, NAJIF remained undefeated by playing a goalless draw with IMAN. After SEJON defeated IMAN 1-0, NAJIF succeeded in winning the title. SEJON, which defeated IMAN, finished second. IMAN secured third place.

The winning team was provided with a trophy and medals, while the other two teams also received medals.
